Hello,
Can somebody help me please ?
I installed full version C4 on Windows 7 laptop PC.
I can not start the game.
There is error message.

Welcome KarelZ.
This error could be caused by any of several problems. Check these for starters:

1. Does you computer meet the required specificatios - especially the video card.
2. Have you installed the DirectX 9.0c runtime library? I installed from here.
3. Are you running the English language version of Caesar IV? There were some problems with other language versions. Try running the file RegisterDLL.bat found in the Caesar IV folder. You will need to run as administrator for this.

And is your game patched to version 1.2?

3. No, I'm running Czech version 1.2
I've tried to run RegisterDLL.bat even like an admin but there is error msg :

I am not very good at technical issues myself.
I found this thread on the Tilted Mill forum from a user with the Czech version. You could try the solution described in post 19.
If this doesn't help, let me know and I'll move this thread to the technical forum and maybe PCDania will be able to offer some advice.

Run RegisterDLL.bat^[3]
Go to `Configuration file(s) location`. Right-click on `RegisterDLL.bat` and select Run as administrator. Choose Yes if a security prompt appears.

Run `CaesarIV.exe` in Windows XP (Service Pack 2) Compatibility Mode^[3]

You can also fix any crashing by changing compatibility mode to Windows Vista. Brighthouse mobiles. Depends on your hardware.
